Mr. Inson Wongsam, National artist honored to join activities with painting students at Phra Baramee Dharma Hall Foundation

On February 23, 2019, the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts and Painting Department organized the activity for the 1st-3rd year students of Painting Department. The activity named “Arts for Developing Concentration, Mindfulness and Harmony”, which was held at Phra Baramee Dharma Hall Foundation, Wat Phanidharam, Chachoengsao Province. According to the activity, Mr. Inson Wongsam, the National Artist in Visual Arts (Sculpture) in 1990 (in 2542 B.E) in accompanying with his team were the honored lecturers providing knowledges and guidances including workshops about the techniques of woodcut printing. In this regard, the 15 woodcut printings making by the students were selected by the National Artist to present the concept and inspiration in making the printing. Finally, the only 5 best printings were awarded and received the original woodcut printings with the signature of Mr. Inson Wongsam, the National Artist as a prize.
